Yep, the -vania thing is Latin! Or at least Latin-based. sylva (sylvam) in the accusative means "woods, forest" so Transylvania basically means "on the other side of the woods." It's gotta have the 'syl' on there, but yeah xD Pennsylvania's the same, which is pretty cool! Sorry for being such a nerd but Latin is fun.
