May 2019 video round up! (Patreon)

I just had a glass of rakija we still have from our visit to Croatia, so please excuse any letter insertion errors.

May was a relatively quiet month for our Youtube channel at a glance as we published just two videos, but they were both an hour long! Sometimes I can't find a logical way to divide a video up and they end up longer than the aimed for 30-45 min, which is fine, but the additional production time can make it tricky to get more stuff edited as I'm sure you can understand. Anyways, here are May's videos!

Also in May we spent two weeks in Shikoku filming our next series we are super excited to share. It's a part of Japan we have had on our radar for a long time and it turned out to be an awesome trip of a place not often deeply explored we hope you'll enjoy too.

On the "soon" horizon we will be finishing up the videos we shot in Kagoshima soon, the next video from that series is about one of the coolest places we've ever been and somewhere we hope many people can also visit to see firsthand: Sakurajima.

Also coming is a video I've been working on for a while that is a bit of a throwback to our older videos. It should be your way in either a few days or a week or so, depending on how the weekend plays out on getting the final bits shot.

On the middle-term horizon I'm working on getting ahead again on video edits so I can (maybe) head to Hokkaido again this summer to film the south-west bit I skipped when I did my hitchhiking trip a few years back. For that I'm basically waiting for the weather in Tokyo to get silly hot so I have a good reason to escape it northward, haha.

In the super long term, we have a trip to Hawaii booked for January 2020 and are more excited about that than we should be, considering how long we have to wait!
