Hey everyone, this isn't an "official" K&E video, but I thought I'd share it anyways as it might be interesting insight into our video production and things to come in the future. I didn't put it on our main channel because it seems a little too specifically technical and I don't think most of our viewership will be into it, but regardless thought I'd share it here for anyone who is interested.

We got a Canon M6 and some lenses! This is some footage I shot while learning about a "real" camera, including a low-light comparison with our old Sony HX90V. I'm in the market for a new camera, so its great to see how the quality compares and the differences the lenses make (the 11mm looks like the best default lens you used). The stabilization issues are something I'm worried about, especially when you're traveling and have to grab a camera quick. But it looks like with enough tinkering and practice it can be worked around.

The only lens that lacks stabilization is the 22mm fixed lens, which I picked up specifically for super low light situations. I'm pretty happy with the stabilization on the other lenses. I suspect the 11mm will be the lens we use the most, I just love that huge wide angle shot it can get us. -E

I think on the timelapse shots you probably want a really long shutter speed (so long as it doesn't overexpose), so that you get motion blur on each frame. That will look more natural than having moving items super-sharp. I think it's called "dragging the shutter".

Yea, so the thing I used was just some automatic feature it has that auto-stitches all the photos together into a video for you. It doesn't have that deep of options, unfortunately.
