One fine morning I spoke with Mark Thorne about this idea to celebrate #AugmentedAugust on Twitter.  Anyone who follows me on Twitter will know about how I've been trying to promote the month of August as a transformation themed month.  I hope to get the theme to catch fire and spread like Orctober and other such amazing artsy months.  It seems to be working, but even if I don't get AugmentedAugust to be a thing, we still got this amazing, FRIGGIN GORGEOUS comic as a result of trying something new.  So, I feel like a real winner, thank you all for your support.  This event I'm running on twitter is still going on for anyone who'd like a chance to get some free artwork of their characters getting the kind of Transformation treatment that Cornelius gets in this comic...well feel free to join us using this link here:
