Hurricane Irma Post (Patreon)

hey guys, whats up?
its that time of year again, another storm coming  to Miami, this time a direct hit! Right now I'm shuttered up and ready  to wait out this storm. ill keep you guys updated if i still have power.

Power  went down sometime early yesterday morning as winds and rain started to  become more intense. i had lost online communication and the hurricane  had made radio signals pretty weak. It wasn't so bad in the beginning,  but the heat and humidity started to get into the house. After a few  hours, it became unbearable to be inside and many neighbors started to  hang outside by their doorsteps and backyard patios.
   The wind  speeds were strong, but sporadic. My family and a bunch of neighbors  started to survey the damage to the neighborhood as the bad weather died  down in the afternoon and found many trees have fallen in the areas. I  think most of them just wanted to escape the heat  and humidity of their  own homes. I was surprised that some of my neighborhood favorite trees  20-30 ft giants those that have stood tall for years and survived many  horrible storms, including Katrina, Wilma and Andrew, were completely  uprooted! As soon as we started to wind down and accept another  uncomfortable night, power was restored! Now we can start getting things  back to order.
   Today, im going to start clearing up any debris and repair what i can, hopefully things will return to normal soon.
