Zandaka is a shapeshifter, but he can also transform others, specially others. Kuran (Blake) is Zandaka's boyfriend who was originally a fox, but was given one of his leaves. The leaf turned Blake into another long-ear bakidanuki like Zandaka. However now that Blake/Kuran is endowed with Zandaka's power, he can change Kuran's appearance at will as well as knowing where he is at all times.

When Zandaka took Kuran out for a night walk out to the Nisemono Shine, Zan transfromed into a Skunk as well as turning Kuran into a rubber skunk priest for the shine. Of course Kuran looked sexy as a rubber skunk shrine priest.
