Happy Holidays (PSA!) (Patreon)

I would like to begin this PSA by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Your Art Tanuki. I have an important announcement to make, and it wasn't easy. To get to the point, since September, I've noticed a pattern of behavior that I'm tempted to fall into. 

My posting schedule is chaotic at best, I try to follow a certain schedule, but it always falls apart. This is due to my poor time management and ADHD. I'm often behind schedule, can't keep clear deadlines, and sometimes can't keep my promises. This is not because I am lazy or because I waste time playing games. In fact, I draw every day, all the time, to the point where I haven't played games in months. 

A week ago I had an epiphany about how I work and the schedules I try to keep, I never do. My art has no clear theme or pattern, it feels like I'm throwing random ideas at the wall to see what sticks. The problem is that I work at certain times during the day, something random happens to derail the schedule, and the whole thing falls apart. That's why my comics either just stop or take forever to progress. 

I used to be working on a little bit of everything all the time, I finish nothing and show only the barest bits of progress. I will devote an entire week to a single project at a time. I accidentally discovered that this was the best way for me to work when I was sick around my birthday. Instead of feeling useless while I was sick, I worked on Suit Printer the whole time I was sick, it wasn't a full week, rather... Sunday, October 1st to Thursday, October 5th, I was not only able to sketch the comic, it is mostly inked, 20 pages, inked, minus the background.

I want to experiment the first week of January by drawing nothing but Zippers comics from Monday, January 1st to Saturday, January 6th. My hope is that this system will allow me to show results much faster and more regularly throughout the month. I will also be streaming and online for my patrons on the LLN discord server. I believe this will enable me to concentrate on the project and make significant progress for the remainder of the month. If this system is successful I'll be able to substancially increase my output.
