Well hello! In his week's Bonus Video we're looking at the reasons why all four lead actors on Will & Grace initially declined their roles and we nearly had an EXTREMELY different show. Also: How David Hyde Pierce, fresh off an Emmy win for playing Niles on Frasier managed to singlehandedly nominate Sean Hayes for an Emmy the following year. As promised last week, I also share the story of Stephen Sondheim's youthful run-in with a pair of ghosts; and also some footage of Debra Messing in what I think is an appalling wig??? ALL THAT AND: What would you say are the two worst-named sitcoms of all time?

My Mother the Car. Of course, it was also the most literal title for a sitcom, so...

W&G didn't grab me, but I thank it every time I watch "Grimm". It's one of the things Sean Hayes spent his clout on and one of my short-list favorite shows.

I should mention that my late husband and I lived in Los Feliz for several years during the 1990s and it seems that upwards of 30% of the time we went to the neighborhood supermarket on Hillhurst Ave, we'd see David Hyde Pierce and his partner shopping there too, When you live in LA you know that you just notice and you might smile but it's up to the celebrity to make the first move.

Loved David’s comment. Nice haircut Matt!

I wasn't a big fan of will and grace but without it we wouldn't have shows like ugly Betty, young royals and heartstoppers.

A show called “Don’t Ask” sounds like the beginning of a Who’s on First bit. “Hey what’s that new show with John Goodman?” “Don’t Ask” “What do you mean, I want to watch the show I just need to know what it’s called so I can look for it.” “Don’t Ask!” “Look is there something wrong with the show? Is it supposed to be bad? Just tell me what the name is!” “DON’T! ASK!” “Fine, Jesus, I’ll just find it in the TV Guide. Some help you are.”

There's a really roundabout connection between Schitt's Creek and The Exorcist that travels right through Gay Town, USA (did that get your attention?) On Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara's classic sketch show SCTV, fellow cast member Dave Thomas plays Al Pacino hosting a leather-themed cooking show "The Cruising Gourmet." William Friedkin (of The Exorcist fame) had directed the leather flick Cruising, starring Al Pacino, the year before. Is this entire comment just me trying to find an excuse to bring up this clip? Possibly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmLfpoj5e84
