My guest on this week's Sewers of Paris podcast has been a lot of different people — Andy Casadonte grew up a meek kid in Maryland, came out of the closet when he went to school in New York to study illustration, and then had to watch his step when his first job out of college required him to move to Tennessee to work on the religious show Veggie Tales. For a while, he found solace in the fandom of queer anime. And when he was finally able to escape Tennessee, it was to a city and a job where queerness could be celebrated.

Hey, I live in Tennessee, and there's a lot of gay and lesbian people here especially in Nashville, a big city for gay people. Being trans, and being out for years I never had gotten troubles from anyone. There's good and bad people ever where. New York is no heaven for gay people especially knowing lgbtq friends who moved from New York to Tennessee. But the state government is insane, but no one really listened to anything they have to say

BTW I love anime two of my favorite shows Yuri on ice and princess jelly fish. Top anime movies, Tokyo Godfathers and paprika.
