Hello Patrons! It's time once again for a bunch of bonus stuff. (Click here if the embed doesn't work: https://vimeo.com/mattbaume/elvirabonus3 )

This week I'm sharing a few more stories about Elvira, and also some nifty stuff I dug up for three upcoming videos. So! Let's begin by checking out Elvira's stripper-outfit from Happy Days, and just TRY to guess who gave it to her.  Then let's turn our gay gaze to the golden-age-of-Hollywood star Rock Hudson, who was briefly rumored to be in a relationship with Jim Nabors in the early 1970s. Jim and Rock (and their experiences as closeted stars, half a century ago) are the subjects of my next video, along with Jim's adorable friendship with Carol Burnett. Oh and also let's get ready for some fun in December, with Rita Moreno gracing us with her iconic presence in the new West Side Story and Pee-wee Herman never going out of style.

I simply loved Rhonda sheer up all night. Starting watching it sometime after Elvira's show went off the air. I always wondered what had happened to her(Rhonda that is). It's also nice to know that my two all time favorite movie hosts are friends. Did not know about Jim Nabors. You learn something new every time you watch one of these videos. Thanks

Oh my gosh, I was wondering what happened to your Pee Wee's Christmas special video. I think I watched it right before it was taken down because I tried showing it to friends after and thought, "Did I imagine that video?" Glad to know it's getting an update I'm looking forward to it! :)

Really looking forward to "the Ritz" video. The stage play garnered Rita Moreno the Tony for Featured Actress and the T in her EGOT (she got the Emmy for hosting "the Muppet Show," my favorite bit of EGOT lore).

Great video, Matt. Seeing Rita Moreno in "The Ritz" reminded me of what a funny movie that is, so I found it online and watched again, for the first time in many years. I'm so glad I did. It is absolutely hilarious. It's an amazingly not anti-gay bedroom farce movie. It really needs a video all of its own, in my opinion. Or maybe a video of queer 70's comedies in general. I was surprised to see John Ratzenberger as patron in the bathhouse in his first movie role. And Treat Williams is just adorable as the incredibly naive but gorgeous detective.

It's kind of sad that I heard egot in passing some years ago and I still know what it is. I also know that only a handful of actors have done it.

Did this video go away? It says it does not exist

It plays for me. Either it has been fixed, or it may be a problem with your local environment.

It's so frustrating because I contested the claim and Shout Factory still said my video belonged to them! UGH. This is why, in my more recent videos, I have to make little edits to clips (shortening studio audience laughs, for example, or horizontally flipping some shots, or zooming in, or speeding clips up to 105%, etc) to avoid YouTube's broken auto-detection.

I nearly did a spit take when I saw John Ratzenberger! He's also, weirdly, in the 80s Superman movies and Empire Strikes Back. Let's say all those films take place in the same cinematic universe.

Argh, sorry it's giving you trouble. Try using the link in the text, the embeds still don't seem to work on some mobile devices.

Only 16 people have EGOTs, most of them composers, directors, etc. One surprise to me was that one of the few actors with an EGOT is Audrey Hepburn.
