August Update: The Dog Days of Summer, Ruff Ruff (Patreon)

Hello friends! 

Ohhhh boy it's hot. You know, I moved to Seattle because they told me it was rainy and grey, but I suppose those days are behind us and now it's basically Death Valley with pine trees. So let us cool our fevered minds with the calming pleasures of super-queer internet goofiness!

Here's what your support makes possibly throughout August:

• Livestreams! Come say hello, share your recommendations, and make friends in the chat! I love getting your suggestions for stuff to watch and read so let's talk about all the queer entertainment that’s lighting up your life! • The Sewers of Paris! Each week on the podcast, a guest plucks a piece of entertainment from their past -- books, movies, music, shows, and more -- and answers the question: how did it change your life? Recent highlights include porn director Jasun Mark, author Orlando Ortega Medina, and sexy podcaster David Quantic. 
• Culture Cruise! All backers get early ad-free access to a new Culture Cruise video, taking a deep dive on queer content in the entertainment we love. I just did two videos about one of TV's first positive depictions of a female impersonator, featuring Beverly LaSalle on All in the Family. Here's the first video and here's the continuation.

• Saturday, August 31: Thirst Unquenched? Sexy Characters for the Rest of Us - A panel discussion about diverse sexy game characters!
• Saturday, August 31: Pink Party 11 - Can you believe it's been eleven years that this big queer dance party has been happening? Cosplay, games, and geek themed drinks!
• Sunday, September 1: Queens of Adventure LIVE! A party of local drag performers make their triumphant return to PAX, playing an original Dungeons & Dragons adventure for a live audience!
