minor detail, the size and flawless cut of the gem, thought to be ancient makes this feel like a satire. serry

I don't think that gem is actualy capable of cursing one who finds it. It looks like lie to prevent people from stealing it. Also his son cursed himself with his actions. I hope there is no magoc here because i don't like magic as element in tg stories.

It might not be a lie. It might be based on something that happened long ago and has been perpetuated through the ages... whether what happened long ago was due to the stone, who can say? 😊
