Sometimes I punish myself with the details, but I find it necessary for visual storytelling. I sketched this up tonight for a single shot in a scene that explains information without needing to go into detail.

As you can see, this is Holly and Abram's wedding day. Times were optimistic with their whole lives ahead of them. I like capturing moments like this with characters as it allows you to really imagine and explore what those times and experiences were like. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

This is still somewhat rough and needs to have a lot of tweaking and perhaps a final pass at drawing (especially the flowers), but it conveys the idea I was after. And yes... it will definitely be colored. :P
