Ion Valley Steamworks Clock (Patreon)

In 2016 at Indiana Comic Con, I met a man that specialized in metalwork and steampunk creations. Some of his creations were clocks, in which I about lost my mind when seeing them in person. I KNEW I had to have one someday!

I then visited Anthrocon for the first time in 2017 and he was there again! We discussed a lot as I looked at more of his clocks. Same thing happened in 2018. However, last year at Anthrocon 2019, I finally took the plunge to commission him for a custom clock!

I filled out all my preferences, we agreed on a price point, and he'd have it for me in a few months. Well, it took a bit longer, but this month, I drove out of state to Michigan to pick it up personally! Yes.... I AM STOKED. I always wanted some type of meta creation that connects to the world I'm trying to create, like an old history piece.

I plan to have this at my booth at Anthrocon 2020. If you're attending, then you can see it in person, and possibly meet the man that made it! Anyway, just thought I'd share this!
