After losing her beloved to the satyr curse, Xandra dedicated herself to study it and find the cure. She spent many years with little progress before she was caught off guard and captured. However, it was her tremendous devotion to Elune that stopped the demonic hunger, allowing her to keep her sanity.

Xandra, now a satyr, used this opportunity to infiltrate their ranks from within to further her research. The truth of the satyr curse proved that it was hopeless in the end, the corruption erased the former being, leaving only cruelty. Turning to vengeance, she was faced with killing her former lover and her captors.

The Night elves refused to accept her, and now she wanders Azeroth trying to find vengeance and face the reality of her curse. In time she grew familiar with her new powers and gifts, even depending on them, but what shook her to her very core — was that she grew to enjoy them.
