Never saw the Show. Is it worth the time?

Cadwae

If you liked the first Avatar it is a nice continuation. Though, I only watched the first season. I hear the second isn't great, but after that it gets good.

Always a great pair^^

Great show in my opinion. Would love to see it continued.

I concur. IMO, season 3 of Korra is the best season out of both shows. Season 4 is almost as good, but the pacing overall is a bit inconsistent. The main characters are older than those in AtLA, so the content can be a bit more mature. Also, SPOILER . . . . ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... The relationship depicted above is canon by the end of the show (and continued in the canon graphic novel continuation) --- although nowhere near as explicit, of course.

This is soooo great.

The vast majority of American animated shows are comedies. Avatar and Korra were some of those rare shows that actually explore other genres, including drama, action, and (a little bit of) romance. You don't see that often outside of Japan. Korra in particular explored very mature themes, including governance, war, and PTSD. The character herself is canonically bisexual, something else that's rare. People who dislike the show usually dislike Korra herself. She starts as a very flawed character -- arrogant, headstrong, and impulsive. I personally like how this makes her feel human, and provides room for character growth. She matured a lot over the years, particularly in season 4, and it's really satisfying to watch that progression.

Y'know one thing that kinda bugs me, where did the western influences for fashion come from if there's no 'West'?

Sven M.

it is a mix of influences coming from the lands of this setting and not our 'West' for example.
