Omg, the description of THE TREE! Y'all are masters of storytelling!

My mama almost named me Pandora, so I understand Wallydale’s frustration on the subject of his naming.

Well, thank you very much, OGOA. You know how to tell a tale - especially one that creeps my skin shivery.

How many episodes of BMAC are there?

"I'd fight my daddy if he named me Wallydale, I swear to God" made me laugh fairly hard. Thank you for including it.

I love ya'll fam, but ya need consistent file naming conventions. Would help when searching and ordering local/mobile downloads. I took ya'll way out on the road, well outside of service, this whole season. Had to pull over a few times to make sure I wasn't skipping.

Unfortunately, our control over that is somewhat limited. Patreon sometimes changes the file names, and we have not been able to identify any predictable factor that causes this. This is an exception, but often, we see that the file you download is not the file name you see in the link. All the BMAC files were alphanumerically named, with no duplicates, and some file names were changed. Nothing we can really do about that bit.

Lol... wallydale=valleydale. Can still hear that jingle in my head...hooray for valleydale, hooray for valleydale

I love this show but I was a bit taken aback by the casual mention of lynchings in this episode.

Christine J. Long

Yeah, I can certainly see that and I was too. There's been other casual mentions of things like that in other stories like the Wolf Sisters and season 1, but I think for me it takes me back because I'm so used to hearing the ethereal horror in this universe that when horrors of reality and history come up, it just hits like a ton of bricks.

Guess you’d prefer that the parts of Appalachian history that was truly horrible were left out ?

Some of us are a little too familiar with the racist horrors of the region. So maybe check yourself.

oldgodsofappalachia

Totally hear you family. BMAC was written immediately after Season 1 and we were still finding our feet in terms of content warnings and handling things that fall into areas that should be handled more carefully.

Hi Mr. Shell, I was speaking to Mr. Robert Winn in the comment above me. I appreciate your response and thank you for hearing me. Recognizing harm caused is damn near half the battle and I appreciate y’all.

I came to tell you, I learned something from this thread, thank you Lauren.

I couldn’t find this on my patreon page at all and am having to google each episode.

Sam Howard

I'm way late to this game, but I just want to say thank you for including transcripts of all your episodes - even the Patreon-only ones. It really helps with my occasional auditory processing issues.
