Hey Family,
So Landon Blood (that's his real name) is a buddy of mine  that I know from playing in the Society for Creative Anachronism. We both work on studying, performing and teaching period medieval music. He really liked the idea of the show a year or more back and I asked him to write me a theme song.  I wanted an earworm like The Black Tapes awful opening song, but you know, actually good.  Landon riffed this off, improv-ing the lyrics as he went.  I only used the first lines of the song because I felt Landon's references to "dark waters" reflected where he lives now (Louisiana) more than the mountains, but on reflection, we're seeing a special relationship to The Things and water aren't we?  Lord knows there are enough rivers he could be talking about.  But y'all asked, so y'all receive
