We appreciate your patience as we worked to finalized makeup dates for our postponed 2024 tour dates in the midwest. We're happy to announce we have those dates for you:

JUNE 18, 2025 — ST. PAUL, MN
JUNE 19, 2025 — MILWAUKEE, WI
JUNE 20, 2025 — CHICAGO, IL
JUNE 21, 2025 — INDIANAPOLIS, IN
JUNE 22, 2025 — COLUMBUS, OH

And yes! Tickets are still available for all of these shows, so if you were going to miss us the first time, you now have another opportunity to make these new dates. Tickets are available at oldgodsofappalachia.com/tour

If you have tickets and can't make it to the makeup date next June, the venues are allowing a 30-day window to request a refund. Please reach out to your venue to obtain a refund. We cannot answer questions about individual venues' policies or processing times, so PLEASE CONTACT THE VENUE with any questions you may have.

So, does this mean no show for us on the 2025 tour, or are we going to get to see you all twice?

Beth

I can't get the link to open

Joel Anthony

I am assuming there will be a 2025 tour. I was wondering if we, in the Midwest, would be excluded from that tour, or if we would get to see you all twice.

ThaddeusGigantus

Oof, guess I'm not leaving town for my birthday next year 🥴😂

oldgodsofappalachia

We haven't booked any dates for 2025 as of yet, aside from these makeup dates. If a 2025 tour happens, we'll make that announcement when the time is right. Here's the thing folks need to understand: when you book a tour, there are contracts in place with venues, and part of that contract is WHEN everyone (us, the venues, etc) is allowed to announce dates. Even if there were dates booked for a 2025 tour, we couldn't tell you just because you ask.

Well I'm not holding on to tickets for a year

This whole thing is leaving a bad taste in my mouth for OGoA

Steve was in the hospital, family. We could not make the original dates. Period. Rescheduling dates is just as complex as booking the original dates. You have to remember that we aren't the only people touring? There are hundreds of musicians and other artists who book at the same venues we do, and we're all trying to get on the schedule. Just because you don't see future dates on a venue's website doesn't mean they aren't booked. As we explained to someone below, there are agreements in place that govern when shows get announced. We understand your frustration. You can reach out to your venue about a refund.

Thanks for letting us know and we are so excited to extend a warm Midwest welcome when you head back our way! Hoping everyone's health is back on the up and up and that everyone is able to rest and recuperate 🖤

Jill Spears

Yay! It’ll be such a great start to the summer for us!

People who make content are still people. They are allowed to get sick. They are allowed to need time off. What about this is upsetting you? They clearly shared why they needed to reschedule (which is personal and not required of them to share), they apologized (which again they didn't need to do), they got new dates pretty quickly, and have kept us informed, including about how to get refunds. Please show a little patience and appreciation for the people behind the show which you enjoy enough to support financially on Patreon.

Rachael Thayer

So excited thank you for the update and refund option! Putting Columbus on my calendar now, is the start time still 8 pm?

Sarah Pryde

Thanks for the update, can't wait to see you!

Zena Darling

Glad everyone is back on their feet... hooves.. claws... whatever! Looking forward to seeing you in columbus in June! Unfortunately over the last several years, we've all had plenty of experience with live events getting postponed or cancelled. Obviously no one wants it to happen, and some people will be disappointed no matter what. But I'm grateful these shows were able to be rescheduled. See you soon, family.

Kelly Schaefer

Thanks for the update. I'm so excited to see you! Your show will start of the summer in the best way!

ThaddeusGigantus

Oh hey do y'all know if you'll have the same cast that was originally scheduled for our leg of the tour? I was really looking forward to hearing Jon's music live again 🥺 I'll still make it regardless, OGoA is one of my absolute favorite podcasts, but it's still nice to know beforehand 💗

ThaddeusGigantus

Also I feel like maybe I'm cursed with your live shows lol, I flew to California for your last tour and Steve fell on stage there, and now for the Midwest he was hospitalized? I'm bringing some bad karma to the poor man 🫠

Rebecca Shreves

I’m in Southeast Ohio - Columbus is perfect! 😊

Asking because the Columbus venue has a link for optional VIP meet and greet additions, but says nothing is available about it yet and to check back later. Is this something that will be possible for the makeup dates? I hope so, but who knows what plague we might be under then [or if it is supposed to be an option at all]. Bless!

Reen Serbu

Thanks for the update info! I hate having such a long wait, but as the saying goes: "better late than never!" See you in Columbus next year. As others have said, will be a good kickoff to summer. Plus June is my birthday month so I'll count this as part of my birthday festivities.

oldgodsofappalachia

That’s a question for the venue. If you’ve previously purchased meet & greet tickets, those will be honored. We have not asked them to not sell more. That’s all we can tell you from our end. How their ticketing works is their area, not ours.

joshuwu Bowling

Thank you much! Hoping to snag one when (if) it becomes available. Thanks again for your dedication to make-up dates!

Bluegrass Cannabis

Can't Wait! The shows last year were so good!

Naomi Rivers

Thanks for getting these out so fast! Happy to have lots of time to plan our trip to Chicago too, I was worried about being able to get the time off if the new date had been before the end of the year. Tl;dr this listener is happy w the scheduling thanks lol

StLOrca

Family, y’all are in for the good stuff. I saw the live show in L. A. and it was FANTASTIC.

Carla Ralston

What is leaving a “bad taste?” They had to reschedule the shows because someone was seriously ill. What else were they supposed to do? Rescheduling takes a while because most of these venues are booked with events a year in advance. I actually thought it would take longer to get them rescheduled.
