How is 2023 Going to Go? (Patreon)

That's right! I'm going to talk about 2023 and what to expect from the new year and what I WANT to do!

If you saw the previous poll, I asked members on here when do they think it would be appropriate to unlock subscriber exclusive content. This is something I rarely did and have never really considered doing for a long ass time which means I have a HUGE back up of art people haven't seen before in a general audience.

I thank you all for support last year and into the new year, and I think what I'm going to end up going with is posting things six months after they've been released. Will this mean I'm going to post them on the dot? Absolutely not. I don't want a consistent and predictable schedule with that sort of expectation. I just want you guys to know that if an image is six months old, it is now something I feel comfortable with posting freely for people to see. A lot of art from over a year ago I will start posting thought rather consistently to try and get more attraction over here and social medias.

I don't play this as a numbers game, and I don't worry too much about who is seeing what, but I do like when people enjoy my art, especially the fan art I make.
Speaking of fan art, I plan on making all Exclusive Polls Fan Art, I did try an OC poll last year and I figured that I don't like the constraint on having my OC art with what I do for exclusives. Long story short, Exclusives are kind of speed run art that tests how well I can do in a fast paced consistent amount of time. A lot of my personal art can take anywhere between 4-7 days to really finish if I really want to play with it, while Exclusives tend to take all 5 days. 

If you've noticed the quality of my art jump dramatically it's because I've been trying to let go of the tightness in a lot of what I draw. Turns out expression and poses rely on a lot of breaking of certain rules but also confidence in hiding and suggestion of anatomy. For one, the Jan 1st exclusive of Eiki doesn't have her lower half showing, something I love to draw, but it would have made the picture way more crowded. No need to bore you with the details though.

Back to fan art, I figured that fan art really is just a thing that I want people to give me cash for because it's just easier to tell people "hey this recognizable thing is something that costs money and helps me fund my regular art and I had a lot of fun experimenting with it," rather than "hey new people, this is a girl I made." There are a lot of Original Characters out there, and while I think mine are some of the best out there, it's hard to compete with some people's OCs for recognizability. This is a pure marketing thing I'm trying and it's just to help raise more funds to make my life nicer. If you love my OCs and think they're better than a Princess Peach, for example, then I cannot help but feel incredibly flattered. I don't think most people will be upset because it's not like I hate fan art and I'm doing this ONLY for the cash. It's more just trying to make a balance of OC content that I didn't have last year.

Mochi Moshi stuff was posted in that huge ass year log that I don't need to reiterate here in this post. If you're a 7 dollar tier you know what's going on and I hope you're excited.

I plan on making OC references through this year starting with the finalized Kazumi design. It's basically going to be the same just with more details ironed out. Faeona will probably be next after that since she hasn't had a proper forward facing image in a long ass time. Then a new character maybe? Who knows. I'm missing a shortstack character that isn't an anthro so maybe I make one of those? I already have things In mind for that. 

Commissions. I know a lot of people are asking me for these and it's just come to a point where I like doing a lot more of my own stuff right now. Maybe I'll toss another character poll up to see if there's characters people want to see in exclusives but if you want me to draw your OC, I kind of want to wait on that. There's maybe a handful of people who have commissioned me in the past that have contacted me on another commission that I have agreed to, so you'll see that, but as for new commissions I'm still working out what I want to do. Prices might go up. 

Next Exclusive Poll. This will be an ass focused poll that will probably start tomorrow. Murasa's Ass Anchor will be in the running again since you guys liked that one a lot. I'll make sure to figure out a few more characters to toss in with some prompts. Do you guys like the prompts? Maybe I'll keep them.

Is this a new years resolution? No, this is more just what I have on my mind and what to expect for probably the first few months. If anything changes you'll see another post. Years are long, don't let anyone convince you otherwise, I got plenty of time.
