Hey guys! It's practically the end of the month, and I'm going to be starting the next Patreon exclusive TODAY so you know what that means! Mochi Moshi update!

Before I start this new update remember that I have at least 10 other logs to read through including Last Months! Okay you read it? Cool!

A lot of good news on the writing front this month as well as some organization information and how everything is going to go moving forward.

Writing Progress

So far there are about 10 node drafts finished and organized in the main document, with 4 more drafts also done prepared by the co-writer! She's also working on two more nodes to finish up a total of 4 complete endings written. So what does that all mean?? It means that we have 4 endings written, with two of them currently being finished. This is super big information meaning that 1/6th or 17% of the game's endings being finished!! But in actually the real percentage of the game's writing complete is 22%! How is that even so? That's because there's 65 total nodes (discounting the secret path) with about 14 of them being done! Wow numbers!!!

I hope all the people who love looking at numerical progress are having a field day with that. I do want to ground some things in reality before I hype up the next part. When all of the writing drafts, all 65, are finished we still need to do some read throughs, testing and organize it into a twine "flowchart" before we really consider the script to be done.

The twine flowchart, beta testing and all information relating to that will be discussed later. Please understand that I don't want to hype up or talk about something that seems a bit far off from now, even if it is the next step.

"Okay but how far off?" you may ask. Me and my co-writer are happy to announce that we're going to be picking up the pace from now on to hopefully meet my goal of having the draft writing done by June/July. I currently picked my next node while she finishes hers off. After that we will be having a meeting on how to continue and section off what we're going to be doing. Basically it's going to be like that scene in Jimmy Neutron where Carl, Sheen and Libby are trying to figure out what Jimmy and Cindy's traits and talents are when they get all jumbled up. You following me? No? That's okay.

Long story short, the good ol' tl;dr. I still want to have all the drafts done by June/July.

Organization Talk

This is the part of the dev log that I don't expect most people to care about, but those who are curious about how things are organized internally might wanna stick around.

Currently all of the writing nodes are nested in folders with an index using hyperlinks to get to every file. They're all stored online via a google drive link shared between me and the co-writer hosted on my account. Right now they're all just dumped into folders named very bluntly "Ass Expansion" and "Weight Gain," with the file name having key letters like [AWB] to identify which route it is. It's kinda a bit messy but we don't look into the folders for the specific route. This is where the index is key.

The index page as it is is just a plain document separated into lists. For example, Ass Expansion has week 1-4 in a list with each week containing the files that are written for it with those key letters [AWB] in front of it. I'll get to what the key letters mean in a bit. I'm going to be reorganizing the index page to follow the flowchart I made and posted in an earlier devlog. It's probably a piece of information that easily describes how the game works so I'll post it again.

It's not much cleaner than the first time I posted it. In fact it's the exact same image.

I think having an index page mimic this sort of set up better helps me and my co-writer understand what work there is left. There's also a checklist chart that I have that I'll show off in a later devlog.

Oh yeah the key letters! Before I end off the devlog I wanna explain the very simple and easy to understand organization code system using big fucking capital letters. [AWB], which was used earlier as an example, simply means Ass expansion week 1, Weight gain week 2, Breast expansion week 3, and since week 4 is just a continuation of the previous three weeks [AWB] is the final code. The brackets, or "[" and "]", are just to make sure they stand out and also I think it looks nicer! Simple right? Oh and L is Lazy transformation.

There's so much more to talk about but I'll save that for the next devlog(s)!

Ending Notes

I hope you guys are excited for this as much as I am because the work is finally picking up. I'm practically dreaming about Kazumi and writing for her gets easier and easier every time I get to it. It's so much fun! I don't want this to be a simple fetish game where you skip through all the dialog to get to the parts where she gets bigger, I really want the writing to amplify the visuals. Of course if you really want to see her get bigger really quickly and ignore all the writing I have your thoughts in mind too, but that won't interfere with the story. More on that later (tm).

Thanks again for supporting me!! It's been incredibly cool to have people each month wanting to support me on this project and know what I'm up to. I really really hope that you continue to stick around through the next few months of development as things continue to pick up! I don't have an eta of when the game will be done, I don't want to promise a date, rush to it and then deliver something garbage, or pick a date and miss it and have people not trust my delivery. This is simply more than a "it's done when it's done." Even if it feels that way hahaha...

Again thanks for your support, there's going to me more Mochi Moshi news, more exclusives and more drawings in general in the next coming months. Like always comment below with questions, praise, doubts or anything in between and I'll get to ya. My DMs are open on every site including this, you can dm me on here for my discord if you feel better talking on there, etc etc... Also commissions will be opening up in February, if you're interested in those there's going to be about 3 or 4 slots that occupy the entire month. I might write a proper update about all this stuff on the 31st to give patrons the heads up before it goes live. Also Vanessa from FNAF the new one will be having her fat ass stuck out on February 1st.

See you all next month <3 Thank you!
