Mochi Moshi Dev Log #39: Life's Complexities (Patreon)

As most of you know I've returned from Sweden as of the 18th, travel takes a lot out of a person and everything that surrounds it is a very complex situation. Since I've come back life circumstances made it very difficult to make any forward progress on the prototype beyond what was done while in Sweden. Consider me taking about a 10~ day break on the project. The goal was to nail this prototype quickly but my mental health was at it's lowest, at a mindshattering level that almost didn't allow me to do any work at all. I don't want to whine or make excuses but as a breathing human it's a fact of life that shit hurts in ways that you cannot imagine or predict.

Mochi Moshi to me is a project that was created out of the desire to make something that encompasses everything I can do as a person. I'm a programmer, an artist, a story teller, and I like to breathe life into the things I create in infinite detail. It came out of the desire to make something I can successfully call my own and every day I think about how much closer I am to this goal. People like Sweaty Neet and Barchboi confided in me and have helped me get even closer to this goal, and I cannot thank them enough. Supporters exactly like you have supported me in this goal and have seen this project blossom from it's conception over two years go. To have people behind my back that have cheered me on endlessly is something that I never want to mistake.

The prototype will be done in May, I hinted at this in March but I can officially say that I need more time. Almost three weeks of the biggest hurdle in my life has made it impossible to progress and I hope that it's no disappointment. If you're in the discord and have project status you will receive the prototype when it's out through discord. If you are not in the discord DM me through this service, or on twitter with your username on this site, and I'll give you access to the discord. When the prototype is released a big loud message will appear on this website signaling you all to check the discord, you won't miss it.

That being said, I'm sorry that I have nothing to show this month. Your money is continuously being used to fund this project and all artistic endeavors.
