so what I've been working on behind the scenes lately is a little episodic story about dogs - shamelessly ginga inspired, I want to animate something with dog packs, action and some fighting. since it's so new, the story and the characters don't have names yet, but I'll get to that soon x) the framerate is pretty smooth, I might experiment with making it more choppy to get closer to a 2d effect.


I'm not the best 3d animator, but 3d animation is what I focused on in college (if you would consider a few senior animation classes to be a proper education), so I'm hoping this story will help me get a little faster and better at animating. but I don't want to promise anything - I've dragged myself through enough stories already that if it stops becoming satisfying, I don't want to keep forcing it to get done. for now, it's a fun thing and I'm learning a lot, so I hope I won't run into any huge discouraging snags. 


other than this and a coyote game I've posted about on twitter a few times, I've been brainstorming some smaller game projects, like a procedurally animated foxfox game, and a game about managing a horse herd. I think these would be really fun and if I make anything for them now I'll be sure to upload!
