So the prevailing thought throughout pretty much all of this last pool episode was "huh...this is the last normal episode." Kusuri shakes everything up, from her supernatural potions to the fact that she's the first one that seems explicitly excited to join a group. She's the type to hear you say the show couldn't get more unhinged and take it as a challenge. I gotta say, getting the same VA as Clara to do Kusuri is some fucking brilliant casting. Clara's chaos gremlin vibe translates over to Kusuri perfectly. I can't imagine a better fit.
