BTW the anime cut it out but Rudy and Eris were also just teleported somewhere in the sky over the Demon Continent, while Rudy’s POV and him breaking the fall was skipped, Ruijerd still said “he saw them fall from the sky”. One thing the anime doesn’t mention outright and apparently expects you to figure out yourself is that Luke’s full name is Luke Notos Greyrat, his father is Pilemon Notos Greyrat, Pauls younger brother and the “nice noble” that offered to take in Eris as concubine when she came back to Fittoa at the end of Season 1. Also I don’t know if you picked up on it but in that first scene Ariel and Luke weren’t talking about cake either. While Ariel can be quite kind, loyal and caring she is also typical Asuran noble, so yeah, she is quite “hyper sexual” just like Paul or Rudy or Phillip or Sauros or any other Asuran noble, it’s kind of in their veins. She and Luke both were knowing for seducing/”preying on” the palace maids one after the other. (BTW Ariel is 12 at that point btw, she is only 2 years older than Slyphie) If Sylphy wasn’t visibly scared she surely would have actually taken her little “joke” all the way.
