The focus on Machiavelli's "The Prince" during episode 1 is a bit of a foreshadowing (no spoilers). A lot of his decisions are influenced by the book and he quotes it. Also a warning: this is the king of cliffhangers (no pun intended.) With the double episodes, you may get through one cliffhanger only to end on another one. However, all things considered, I believe you will enjoy this.
