I'm back with some fun facts :D A) All the songs in the series was released to YT, Spotify, Apple Music a few minutes after the episode it premiered aired. B) Kessoku Band have a playlist in music streaming platforms featuring all their songs in the series plus some more. C) Bocchi the Rock chapter 61 was released the same day Episode 8 aired. It featured Seika and Nijika's backstory and was in a regular manga format unlike the Bocchi manga which is a 4 Panel. D)The takosen on Episode 9 was an actual scanned image of a takosen. The animation staff. Tweeted a picture of them scanning it using a regular office printer/scanner. E) the EDs were sang by the different VAs. EP1-3 was sang by Kita's VA, EP4-7 was by Ryo's VA, EP 8-11 by Nijika's and EP 12 by Bocchi's.

We may not have a Season 2 announcement yet but a spin-off manga was announced and it will be featuring Hiroi Kikuri (aka drunk girl)

Yaaaaaaasssssssss I love it. So one of my absolute favorite parts of this series, and you totally picked up on it, is how the girls almost start to "yes, and..." Bocchi's anxiety attacks and I think it's so weirdly wholesome and cute. The scene in episode 7 where she turns to ash and then Nijika and Kita also both pass out and die had me fucking rolling. Just the way the show seamlessly blends the surreal panic into reality ("Bocchi exploded!") is so great. So much great music, so much great animation, wonderful characters. It's def one of those shows where I feel like I could probably just watch it an infinite number of times because it's such a delight. Also...Hiroi is the best. I had a very real "ohhhh" moment about my life once I realized she's exactly the type of girl I would make stupid decisions for lol.

The beach they went to in episode 9 was the same beach that Marin and Gojo went to in episode 8 of MDUD so one these birds might be the same bird that stole Marin’s burger (and the fries moment). I wonder how you’d feel about these birds with that information. LOL And I just wanted to ask, who is your “best girl” of the series? All four members of the band were in the top10 best girl of the season when this was on air.

Also, the movie Ryo is watching in episode 9 when Kita and Nijika ask her if she invited Bocchi to hang out is the same horror movie Marin and Gojo are watching in episode 12 of My dress up darling. Both shows are made by Cloverworks. Talking about obscure references. HE HE.
