Uuuuhhh...the memories. I watched it when was aired originaly (yes, I'm that old) and is still one of my favorite anime of all times. Here was aired by the name of "Robotech" and was 3 series in a package. It was "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross", "Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross" and "Genesis Climber Mospeada".

Were there new information about it? Because as far as I knew there weren't any clear information what exactly it is, just that there is a new anime project.

I read it a long time ago. I don't remember where. But, it's an anime of 2008, it's not logical that they do a continuation of something that probably the 90% of the new anime viewers never saw. I could be wrong but I think there will be a remastered version of the original or a reboot like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Will see.

Well, Hataraku Maou-sama!! originally aired in 2013, might be not as long as the gap from 2009 but in exchange there were those Spice&Wolf VR adventures in 2019 and 2020. So really, I wouldn't say either a sequel or a reboot is certain. Personally a FMA:B type reboot, adding in cut content and adapting the whole series with modern animation (not that Spice and Wolf really needs a high level of animation, but it's nice to look at) would naturally the best result. Perfect would be if afterwards they announce the same for the Sequel.

Probably because it's hard to get into, seeing that it's a spin-off of the Index main series, that has 3 more 2 cour seasons on its own. And that one, while being an amazing story, sadly got treated really badly by its anime adaptation, if compared to how well the Railgun manga is treated by it's anime adaptation. I mean sure the Railgun anime also works pretty well as a standalone but there will be a bit of context lacking at some points, especially when certain characters show up.

I did actually watch through Railgun and I liked it, I think the second season was my favorite. I would not mind seeing Ryu Ryu do a reaction to this show.
