It's super enjoyable listening to Ryu break down the story points, grasp the more conceptual and metaphorical aspects often overlooked or ignored, and piecing together the subtext surrounding the relationships It's not the most visceral or flashy show, so more often than not most end up dropping it. In that regard this reaction to the show is a really wonderful breath of fresh air, thank you Docholphan for endorsing this series

You are a hero Docholphan. That aside about the lack of Hitagi in the last few episodes, Hitagi herself tries to stay away from the Supernatural and live a normal life. But the story that Araragi tells us is one of his encounters with the Supernatural and people intertwined with the supernatural, so while she is there, and the relationship is always there in the background, it only rarely gets into the focus of the story from time to time. Also, Araragi as Narrator of the story seems to deliberately omit the truly intimate moments with Hitagi, because they are intimate and something for just the two of them to enjoy. This fact that the entire series is basically narrated to us by the characters, mostly Araragi but there are also some arcs narrated by other characters, is an important factor in some of the later arcs since it means we also get to experience how they view the. e.g. taking an example that doesn’t spoil anything, when Araragi narrates the story, as is the case in all of Bakemonogatari, the world is usually completely empty of humans besides the main characters, not once have we seen even a passer-by or another classmate that isn’t focus of the story. Also don't worry the Golden Week and Spring Break will get explored later on.
