My favorite aspect of this series, other than the little goblin girl that hangs around Geld, is how Rimuru and Milim have something of a brother-sister dynamic.

I've ignored the multiple Slime Isekai spin-offs assuming they were cash grabs that would dilute my enjoyment of the main series. (As was my experience with DanMachi.) But somehow this "spinoff" is legitimately one of the best shows this season. Who expected to see so much time devoted to minor characters like Treyni the Dryad, Kurobe, and Geld? Or that they have some of the best scenes in the series? Fuse is listed as the author of the light novels and all the mangas, and whether they are a person or a group, they are severely underrated.

Yeah this series is really great. With the transition between Novel and anime there is always a lot of stuff that has to be cut and often it's the little things like inner monologues, small interactions between characters etc. The spin-off does a really does a good job of giving exactly those kind of little things on mass and it just makes the characters feel more whole and endearing.
