Took multiple attempts over 5 or so minutes but it finally played for me.

Okay unfortunately I don't have an immediate solution as it's working for me so looks like it's a bigger Dailymotion issue. I'll look more into and see if I can find a solution or it might be an issue that gets fixed overtime. I know one thing is that if you have AdBlock you need to turn that off for Dailymotion as the website won't load if you do.
