When Ariel appears at the end, the name drop does start with her title "Origin Taratect", by the sounds of that, she's most likely our little spider's Grandma, and the mother of 'Mother', and with the emphasis throughout the show about how powerful the Mother type spider is, Ariel's interest is probably there cause 'Mother' might have called for help, seeing as a child of her, is out to kill her now. I doubt something like that goes over easy with the Origin Spider, Ariel. I think its kinda the same like earlier in the show, when Kumoko first killed a dragon, and that other guy felt it and appeared, but was told to back off by 'D'. Can't have someone run off on their own on a killing spree like that, killing important monsters! Haha

I probably missed it, but since when do we know that the demon lord is called Ariel? Up to this point I assumed that she was Kumoko in the future.

We didn't know the name before, this was the name drop moment, all the other times she has been refereed to as "demon lord" with some very suggesting scenes to make her seem to be Kumoko, would have had more of a effect if they didn't show the "fight" in the opening! xD

Admin D said that she was an 'outsider' so she is probably not from the world Kumoko is in now, which is weird when you think about it, why did they target Admin D specificly? :o She also said that she "suggested" the system so that would make her a co-founder? Or atleast idea creator and administrators are pretty highly likely Gods.

Being a founder of it would absolutely give her benefits such as being a admin also her "I got it up and running" could also be understood as D is Much more powerful then any of the other "Gods" or Admins in this world and therefor she provided them a solution and a product that works but that they themselves have to maintain it, but she is, 100% Not from that world as she herself said. (If we go by what she says to be true anyway.) Something similar to any coders backdoor to their own programs.
