In regards to the Knight Captain or whatever rank he has. When Razen talk to him, and they talk about the other peoples skills, its cause that Knight is also an Otherworlder, who's able to take on skills from people who die under his command or something. The anime skipped over it, but you learn it before Razen takes Shogo's body, cause they tell Shogo about it, before Shogo dies.

Don't know why they toned down the violence on Megiddo (imagine Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy with lasers rather than a floating arrow, that's what it would look like) after showing Hakurou throw a literal severed head, but it was one of the best episodes so far nevertheless \o/

The comment on the how not being pg anymore is valid but It's an interesting narrative on an evil kingdom getting just desserts for probably not the wort thing they've done, we never heard their history but if they did this to some innocent town simply for a trade route it's likely there's been tons of vile and dark situations from the king/army/ etc. Also I've always thought of this anime very structured around a classic rpg fantasy game between certain races and powers, many "skills" Rimuru seems to acquire or I assume make up in a way are based around that including Megido which I'm fairly positive I've seen in a dozen rpgs over the last few decades so that spell kinda gave me a grin as it's not something I've seen much of in anime really.
