I had the same reaction to things revealed in this episode, I hate the fact i'm on the older end of the spectrum of anime watchers compared to some and at times random episodes of what could be mostly labeled as a silly show actually effect me more sometimes then even real life stuff does lol I'm not sure what that says about me tbh. That aside though I commend often writers of some of these shows how they can make an on the surface fluffy friendly story radically get dark and real with no warning even as a writer myself I at times struggle with up and down arcs in stories. I give the last couple episodes all the praise for getting as deep as it has.
