I have high hopes for this one, it gives me Reincarnated as a slime vibes as well, which also starts soon again, yay! But yeah, hopefully it'll be a great one, starting out a lot harder, Isekai: Hardmode edition. Also, didn't know you were an Aussie, Ryu, must be an easy anime then. I mean, don't you guys have Huntsman spiders as pets? Rofl xD

2021-08-31 21:02:33 The LNs are rly fucking good. It has some generic similarities w/ Slime & other monster Isekai stuff, but Kumodesu is more focused on character & action & world building, rather than city-building & politics like Tensura is. CGI was absolutely needed to feasibly animate something as annoying as an 8-limbed MC, which would be horrifying for animators (who are already almost slave workers, considering how fucking underpaid they generally are) to do manually, to retain the realistic mobility of all 8 limbs at the same time, especially in high-speed combat. Edit: FYI, our MC looks exactly the same as every other sibling there, what we see is just how she sees herself, cuz no shit she'd think she's kawaii af, people are always biased automatically when it comes to one's self, after all. Also, as you might have deduced when she walked across the HUMAN footprints, she's about the size of a big dog, rly (height wise; I'm sure she's like 2 humans wide or something like that, considering how spiders are built)

2 "issues" I have so far. 1, cgi. I don't think it looks that bad or anything. but'll take s bit of getting used too: 2. MCs voice. I love her voice. but I don't think I'll ever not hear her as Tanya from Youjo Senki
