That character with the spear. My theory is that she is a Neanderthal. There are a few reasons for this. Firstly it seems established that there are only two humans in the show. Since the females seem to be 90% human in appearance and she has NO wild animal traits whatsoever that seems to mean that she was human in appearance to begin with. She is also seen in the episode eating a hunk of meat that looks like the type cavemen would eat in cartoons, comics, and other depictions of them in popular culture. Lastly you see her in the intro holding a spear like a hunter standing in front of all the ancient extinct species in the episode namely the dinosaur faculty members.

Also Tarsiers do apparently have a dying problem when in stress in captivity. They are endangered and so far, that I know of, they have been unable to get them to successfully breed in animal sanctuary’s as a protected species. When stressed in captivity they will bang there head and die. Primates in captivity sometimes show atypical behavior and “rock” as a coping mechanism. I “think” this is similar but since they have such a thin cranium they end up causing themselves brain damage and die. Hopefully they will bounce back in the wild...if measures are taken

Aww that's so sad and heartbreaking. As funny as this episode made it be it's sad how one of their instinctive traits is to bash their head :(
