For me it hit really early hard - it was also the 1st anniversary of my dad's passing- so fathers day was already tough- this episode made me bawl my eyes out, but was a great episode, amazing animation and great storytelling.

The people that planned out to have Turning Point 3, with Slyphies pregnancy, on mothers day and then this on Fathers Day, even adding in a week delay to make it fit have a sick sense of humor. It's been 6-7 years since the Teleportation Incident, but Rudy was sent away to tutor Eris when he was 7 and spend 3 years in Roa, with zero contact with his family as Paul forbit him to even write letters, before the Teleportation Incident. So for him it's been nearly 10 years since he last had any contact with Zenith. As for Paul being powerful, he is advanced rank in all 3 sword styles and has years of experience adventuring as a S-rank adventurer. For comparison Eris at during their travels was advanced rank in just Sword God Style without much experience and she was chopping monsters and people up like no tomorrow. Paul was undeniably a genius, he can't keep up with a Sword King like Ghislaine but he is very powerful. On top of that the curved sword he is using in his left hand is a magic item with the ability [Armor Break] the harder the opponent's armor is; the sharper the cutting edge gets. Also little titbit, remember Rudy named his arms Hulk and Heracles, Heracles was his left arm, Rifujin really doesn't forget even those little comedy bits.
