Ending feels a bit rushed, but overall a nice series

The book didn't have the game-forced events, so the Demon Lord fight went a little ... differently. But this version is less dark and a little more believable for the characters. The story does continue even through it's no longer a game. (Thankfully they don't go the "Otome Game Sequel" route to continue the story.)

Yes in the books Yumillia gets stabbed before the fight and the demon lord ends up killing all but the prince and her before goading Yumillia into killing him and proving that she is just as much of a monster as him.
