I read the Hobbit in the sixth grade and then Lord of the Rings in the 7th. I had to go back from the start a few times trying to keep track of all of the names and character. I read Sillmarillion in the eighth and it was even more dense. XD It's still fantastic reading. I met my first boyfriend through our shared interest in Tolkiens writings. ^.^ I've got a soft spot in my heart for the series.
