For those of you who are not on the discord channel, Unfortunately given the condition of the patient I was overseeing, I damaged my back assisting them with lifting in and out of their chair. Thankfully they were not harmed. 

We picked up my stepfather yesterday from the hospital, and he is still on shakey grounds from the procedure regarding his heart. Because of his complications, he will most likely require a second round in 1-2 weeks. While retrieving his car, one of the wheels went because of dry rot, and I put more stress on my back replacing it with an emergency spare. Got a replacement this morning. The rest of the day has been spent starting on and compiling paperwork for short-term disability for my stepfather. 

I'm hoping to find some time here to sit down to digital work, so fingers crossed not more crazy stuff happens from here! xvx
