I'm trying so desperately to draw. I have so many ideas when I'm at work or walking. I write them down excited to work on bringing them to life later when I have free time. I go to draw and instead I just stare at a blank canvas. I draw circles and lines trying to bring a character to life and that's all it ends up being. Just circles and lines. Not looking for tips and whatnot. Just trying to saw this comic resonates with me deeply. I am grateful Shane got past this and makes such wonderful, heartfelt comics.

I'm grateful knowing that for how hard it is, you continue to try. I'm proud of you that you continue to try. I've been there so, so, so many times, so I hope you will continue to be patient with yourself. I know you're not looking for any advice, but if you ever wish to sketch together and have a chat, my door is open to you. If there's anything I've learned, it's that little moments make the greatest wholes, good and bad.
