Good morning my dears. I hope you are doing alright today.

Up for download and viewing is a piece I call blocks and bats.

During these times I find myself rather adrift and under the influence of art blocks, I consider it a rare privilege to work with these feelings, or rather, the lack thereof. 

Art blocks can be a crippling experience especially for those who connect with their art. To have it is to have the figurative removal of the hands. And yet there is something rather unique, curious even about this other side of the artistic nature. 

Like a stagnant pond, its surfaces are clouded and one would often be adverse to reaching their hands in to such ugly pools, and yet there lies the opportunity, and the mystery. What lies beneath when our waters have been muddied and dirtied? 

The answer in the end is how it has always been. Everything. Even if you cannot feel it, cannot see it yet. Everything is there.
