Good afternoon my dears. Today was my day off and so I went with home hunting once more. However I needed to go get more bundles of quarters for the bus. On my way returning home, I decided to be a small sum adventurous and walk off the streets and onto the greener way. The last four hours have been most pleasant. I sat with a crow at a stream while it had a drink. Watched a spider work it's way around a web in between trees.

It's been a long time since the only sounds I could hear was the running waters, the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, and whatever lay beneath them. It's been years, and years indeed. Something happens to the mind when all we can hear are the sounds of cars humming, and pavement scraping. The world feels far less beautiful. We spring into ways to entertain ourselves, listen to music or watch shows to escape some form of monotony, eventually floating about the roads we travel.

It can be a healthy reminder that not everything is asphalt, or exhaust pipes. That not every town and city is a collective of only brick and metal buildings reaching towards the sky. Treat yourself sometime if you can, and find a brook or green haven. It may count for more than you think.

Speaking of greens, a little sketch for you all of a certain ghost rabbit hiding on a blade of grass! Feel free to download it, and some pictures I took while out if you like!
