Fractions of the moon can often be found deserted upon the cosmic horizons. fallen harbingers of neglected prophecies, these crescent aspects of the lunar will are often unheeded, and their words lesser heard. 

The universe is a great and sharp place, or so many say. Seekers of this path often close both their eyes and hands to the shadow of life. Such is the terrible and great, cracked existence. And so our pain perpetuates. 

Yet the moon promises a gentler side of creation. Orphaned fragments, just as the shunned being behind them, whisper quietly yet insistently for any wayward soul lowly enough to hear them. 

Selfishness often strides alongside fear, and for those consumed by it, the reality of life and the universe is loneliness and cruelty. But if one should hear those soft whispers, those denied prophecies, they might yet hear...

"Mercy...have mercy..."

These pleas unending and unfaltering, it leaves one to question if this mercy is asked for the fragments, or for the listener themselves.
