When the great wheels came to cease under the abhorrent wails of the great crack, it would be an interloper as Ragneres to fall so very far from the heights above. 

Plummeting like a coiled angel, they would come to understand the meaning of suffering. Hardening upon that which once was so soft until it cracked. Inconsolable coldness upon that which once was so warm until it froze. Never ending darkness upon eyes which only knew eternal light.  

As Ragneres fell, so too did many suns. They fell far. Far enough until they did not understand up from down, hot from cold, pleasure from pain. They fell far enough to coil upon this world. 

And what a curious miracle such small things could have a paltry understanding of suffering. They had eternity and three wounded suns. They could spend the rest of it dreaming along with the rest of such...small...things.
