The Sad Ones (Patreon)

Well good afternoon my dears~ Sorry I've been doing a bit less as of late. I've been quite busy with a larger work schedule and the tying up of the loose ends on  finalizing my move! Well that and the fact I've been dealing with art block which is eating my brain. Anyway how are yoouuuuu?

Up for download today is a work I call Sad which features those lovely things that haunt my dreams, the sad ones! If you're familiar with my mini project, Arbinel and the dark dreamers then you've probably seen them before. My sleep has been troubled as of late. Many more dreams that leak out from the horizons. Recently I had one of a staircase of light whose steps lead out into the universe so I wandered it. At the end had been a series of glowing rocks which came together in such unique patterns again and again until they turned to fragments of dust and entered through myself. A voice whispered to me " Take it back with you and show them. Show them it again. " and I felt a great coiling around myself.

When I had woken up I felt so very sick, but looking back on it I realize I was also so very sad as if all the joy had been lost from this world. Who knows, perhaps the Sad Ones visit far more than I realize. You never really know what is waiting for you out in the distance, or what may some day be asked of yourself. But make no mistake, each and every one of us has something to offer, something to give, something to bring to this world. Now and again however we need a little reminder that we are the only opportunity to make that happen. You take care now.
