Good morning my dears! I hope you are doing alright today!

Up for download and viewing is a piece I call " Compassion " along with a couple of sketches. We're almost half way through the month now, and every day is a step closer to the glorious spooky day.

To stare upon the stars overhead is to acknowledge the depth of the cosmos. For some this is to shamefully admit their insignificance within the world let alone universe. There is a...horror in recognizing our mundanity and small nature. There is a greater fear in what awaits us in the black ocean out there where stars are swallowed by the depths of eerie tides.

There is a consuming terror that dwells within us which muses on entities of vastness far exceeding our own, and imaginings of what they would do with such powers if we crossed paths. Would they lord over us? Enslave us? Swallow our very way of life and doom our humanity?

We speak with the primordial eyes of the human condition, and perhaps it is telling how greatly we speak of our fears of others, and what they would do were they advantaged to us. What we might do were we advantaged to them.

There is a great fear and hatred in humanity. A burning rage, and billowing animosity. How could we not imbue this upon the unseeable, the unspeakable? We know the grips of existential cosmic horror. And yet....

Seldom do we realize that there may yet be something else stirring out there in all the humming chaos of the sharp and fractured galaxies. Something of vastness not so incomprehensible by its hate, but incomprehensible by its love. Perhaps we should not fear what destruction we cannot imagine, but what love we cannot comprehend...
