The seal of this unliving sanctity was broken long ago. Those who bore witness to the wicked deed beheld a phantom sight, a mourning figment of unending nights before Black sun was fully submerged. 

Elder guardians of the silent truth know that it is a sad one, and their humble appearance signifies, like their incomprehensible serpentine bodies, endless servitude. Their workings are of a great mourning...and they too are sad ones for it. 

To augur is to partake in the rite of seeing the churning waters of the cosmos, and those who have seen the deepest of these currents know, just like the sad ones, that the great pieces of the universe still fall. 

Like unwanted and feared stones they fall endlessly like one would in the most terrible of deep dreams.
