Some days I wake up tired. Some mornings I wake up scared and unsure what I'm going to do with myself. It can be scary...doing this every day. Scary feeling so tired, so stressed...sometimes not even feeling anything at all. 

Some days I'll take a deep breath. The deepest I've ever taken of all...and wonder if this is how it will always be.

Working with our feelings, learning to do more than cope with them..is a process. There are no one-step solutions, no fix-it-alls that land at your feet. I know I've had problems for years and I'm working on them still. I tell myself some days that I'm being torn apart, that I'm losing my grip on how far I've come...but it's not true. 

I've spent so much time hating myself, and believing people hated me...there are echoes of it now and again, you know? Learning to let go, to heal and breathe right again..It takes..time. Learning to love again takes time.

This is for all you out there that get anxiety attacks when someone sends you a text message because you feel so tired and unsure of yourself. Who find it hard to get out of bed some days or remember to eat. Who feel like they're letting everyone down when they're trying so hard...themselves most of all. 

We're trying. I don't care how many times we fall. I don't care what mountains we need to climb or how impossible they look to us one day from the next. I know you're trying, and I love that you still do. We've got to keep trying.

We're going to climb this thing. We're going to do it. A step at a time.
