There are days where the world can appear angry, where nothing will ever seem right. There are times where you feel like no one cares or wants to listen, and all that matters is the next fight. 

Days like that can feel lonely, when all we see is how far we can fall, how deeply we can get mad. We don't hear it enough, so I want to tell you, being here with you now, I'm glad. 

Because you have done your best to listen to that little part of yourself inside, that gentle voice. Knowing tomorrow is another day, and with it another choice. 

To be the person you are hopeful to one day to be. A day at time, it's so much closer you might see.

I love you just the way you are, and I know you will continue to do your best. So thank you today for letting me get that off my chest.

Just by being here you mean so much more than you think. Compared to moments like these, all the bad things in this world could shrink.
